It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend and contribute to the 8th International Conference on Reliability, Maintainability and Safety (ICRMS 2009) which will take place July 20-24, 2009, in Chengdu, China. With a history of over 2300 years, Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, is easily accessible from anywhere in the world and provides a near ideal combination of outstanding meeting facilities, beautiful weather, irresistable cuisine and rich cultural heritages.
As the top RMS academic symposium in China, the history of ICRMS can be traced back to 1992. From then on, it has been continuously served as an international forum for presentation of new results, research development, case studies and applications in RMS related areas. The topics of ICRMS usually include Astronautics, Aeronautics, Military Equipment, Automobile, Communication, Computer Network, Electronics, Automation Instrument, etc. As an international forum, it attracts increasing number of researchers from different countries, including USA, Canada, Japan, Norway, Sweden, France, Iran, Italy, Poland, UK, Russia, South Korea, Lithuania, Astria, etc.
On July 20 to 24, 2009, ICRMS will mark its 8th year in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. ICRMS 2009 is sponsored by Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, together with support from the other six societies. It is co-organized by Institute of Reliability Engineering, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
The theme of ICRMS 2009 is ¡°Highly Reliable, Easy to Maintain and Ready to Support¡±. It aims at enhancing international exchanges and promoting the progress of RMS techniques, and organizing an international forum on RMS. In addition to paper presentations, the ICRMS 2009 features distinguished keynote speeches, invited sessions, and industrial exhibitions.
